Kazakh Art: Traditions and Modern Trends (part II)


The above is from a billboard depicting a yurt. The following artwork is by Yerbol Khamirov who is a talented artist, a member of the Kazakhstan Artists’ Union. He paints mostly landscapes which are very natural, creative and full of lyricism. Open sky, the boundless steppe, mountain valleys and quiet lifestyle of the native land are the main objects of Yerbol’s art.  (Thanks to Uriya Jurik for the text to these two blogs)
