Many bright colors dominate the landscape in Almaty, Kazakhstan besides mountains, greenery and sky. The tulips photo I took this past spring. What struck me was the lone yellow tulip that stuck out among the red tulips. I suppose that is what I am as an American in this unheard of place, unknown and virtually untapped by us outsiders.
